Brief Description: The main objective of OUTDOOR4MI is to promote the Outdoor Education in training a new generation to respect the natural environment from an early age. It will be reached by offering the teachers educational resources aimed at facilitating the implementation of OE activities in kindergartens (pupils of 3-5 years old), with special regard for those with mobility impairments. The project is funded by the European Union.

Η χρήση της Μουσικής κατά τη διάρκεια της εγκυμοσύνης και βρεφικής ηλικίας

Συνεχίζεται με επιτυχία το ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα με τίτλο “Η χρήση της Μουσικής κατά τη διάρκεια της εγκυμοσύνης και βρεφικής ηλικίας – Music during pregnancy and infancy”. Σύντομη Περιγραφή:

Το πρόγραμμα «Music during Pregnancy and Infancy» αντλεί από τη θεωρία της επικοινωνιακής μουσικότητας (Communicative Musicality) και την επιστημονική θέση ότι οι πρώτες προσπάθειες των βρεφών να επικοινωνήσουν με τα άτομα γύρω τους έχουν μουσικότητα. Τα τελευταία χρόνια οι έρευνες στο χώρο της μουσικής εκπαίδευσης και της ψυχολογίας, καταδεικνύουν ότι η χρήση της μουσικής από τη γέννηση, υποστηρίζει την ανάπτυξη του εγκεφάλου, προάγει τις κοινωνικές και συναισθηματικές δεξιότητες του βρέφους, ενισχύει τη σύνδεση μεταξύ βρεφών και γονέων/φροντιστών, και προάγει την ευημερία των μητέρων στους πρώτους μήνες της μητρότητας. Επίσης διαφαίνεται ότι η χρήση της μουσικής στο πλαίσιο της οικογένειας (family musicking) ενισχύει τη σύνδεση των μελών της και ενδυναμώνει την ταυτότητα τους. 
Οι γονείς στο πρόγραμμα, συμμετέχουν σε μια σειρά διαδικτυακών εργαστηριακών σεμιναρίων στα οποία ενημερώνονται για τη σημασία της χρήσης της μουσικής κατά τη διάρκεια της εγκυμοσύνης και της βρεφικής ηλικίας, και εκπαιδεύονται να χρησιμοποιούν μουσικές δραστηριότητες για τη φροντίδα των παιδιών τους.
Τα μέχρι τώρα αποτελέσματα από τη συμμετοχή των γονέων και ειδικότερα των μητέρων στο πρόγραμμα καταδεικνύουν ότι το πρόγραμμα τους βοήθησε στη φροντίδα του βρέφους τους, ενισχύοντας την επικοινωνία και την συναισθηματική σύνδεση με τα παιδιά τους. Ένας μεγάλος αριθμός συμμετεχόντων υπογράμμισαν την αξία που είχε το πρόγραμμα για τη δική τους ευημερία. Η μουσική λειτούργησε ως θεραπευτικό μέσο για τoυς ίδιους τους γονείς και υποστήριξε το ρόλο της μητρότητας και πατρότητας.
 
Χαρακτηριστικά μια μητέρα είπε:
«Η μουσική άλλαξε την ατμόσφαιρα στο σπίτι μας και η φροντίδα του μωρού, μετατράπηκε από μια αναγκαία ρουτίνα, σε μια απολαυστική, ξεχωριστή εμπειρία. Όλα γίνονταν πιο εύκολα με τη βοήθεια της μουσικής: το άλλαγμα της πάνας, το τάισμα, το νανούρισμα… Το πιο ευχάριστο ήταν ότι το μωρό μου τις απολάμβανε».
