Maria Mouka was awarded a BSc degree in Occupational Therapy from the Faculty of Health and Caring Professions, the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, where she completed her studies in 2004 with honors. In 2022, she was awarded a Master’s degree in Technologies of Learning and Communication with distinction from the European University Cyprus. Today, she is a research associate at the European University Cyprus. Her research interests focus on assistive technology and disabilities. She has also work experience in private institutions in Greece that are specialized in services for persons with disabilities and especially intellectual disabilities.
